ABOUT
A heartfelt meal by the sea at Waemok Village
Hwangje Bajirak Kalguksu Dangjin Waemok Village is a clam kalguksu restaurant in front of Waemok Village beach in Dangjin, Chungcheongnam-do. We cook as if for our own family, with thoroughly cleaned clams, anchovy broth from the southern sea, Dangjin Haenaru rice and kimchi made fresh every day. Enjoy the broth first, then finish with kaljebi — kalguksu noodles and hand-torn sujebi dough.
Clams and kaljebi, prepared with care
Good ingredients, cleanliness and hospitality guide our preparation. Clams are naturally purged in seawater for two days, then hand-washed three times to remove impurities from the shells.
A meal with parents and family
You can enjoy sea-view seating and consider our octopus-and-clam 5-Course for a family meal. The entrance and seating are wheelchair accessible; please inquire ahead about specific seating needs.
